It’s Trustees Week!
November 2, 2020
Trustees Week takes place every year where we give thanks to those trustees involved in our Charity.
Our Trustee Board is made up of a group of volunteers who are ultimately responsible for the organisation. Charities don’t have ‘owners’ as such however we do have a team of passionate trustees.
A Trustee’s role is;
- To ensure we meet all legislation and regulations (including meeting our charitable purpose).
- To ensure that the Charity’s resources are used appropriately.
- To work with the executive team to set the strategic direction of the organisation.
So it is in this week that we would like to thank them all for the hard work and dedication they give throughout the year.
A poem below from a member of staff.
Our Trustee Board is fab and ace,
they always work at a fast pace.
Trustee’s week is a time for praise,
because they are totes amaze.
Giving their spare time to such a good cause,
still making a difference even during this pause.
So it’s in this poem I’d like to say thank you very much
For simply being such a lovely bunch.
