Elizabeth started volunteering for us 25 years ago in 1998. Volunteering as adviser and the office’s social policy representative.
During Elizabeth’s time with us, she has achieved excellent outcomes with benefit applications. Predominately delivering advice in person pre-pandemic, attending the office every week despite the weather. Elizabeth swiftly turned her hand to telephone advice during the pandemic to help people in an unprecedented time.
Elizabeth attended the Queens Garden party through her social policy work and has made a real difference to countless lives throughout her 25 years volunteering. As well as being our longest serving volunteer, she still finds time to do other volunteering, such as being a school governor.
Congratulations Elizabeth, we cannot thank you enough for all of the hours you have given us and we’re proud to work alongside you.
